Coaching & Fractional Low-Carbon Product Officer
We provide mentorship and coaching to your designers, developers, and product managers on an existing or new product so your team can follow best low-carbon and sustainable AI practices. We review your product, identify the highest-impact interventions, and guide your team through implementing them in their existing workflow.
Best if: your team has the capacity to implement but lacks the specific expertise in sustainable digital practices. You want to build internal capability that outlasts the engagement.
What we deliver: a features and content assessment to keep what's useful, usable, and used; design choices that reduce data transfer without compromising user experience; front-end optimization (images, fonts, scripts, caching); back-end and infrastructure decisions; hosting and CDN selection; third-party script audits
Timeline: minimum duration is three months, with the possibility of renewal based on the extent of the project
Low-Carbon Studio
We design and build your digital services for you, whether that's websites, platforms, or apps. We start with objectives, needs, and requirements and will implement the solution following best low-carbon and sustainable AI practices from the ground up.
Every decision, from architecture to image formats to hosting choice, is made with environmental impact as a design constraint alongside performance and user experience.

01. Scope Definition
We will discuss your context, needs, product objectives, and sustainable digital maturity. This gives the project clear foundations, aligns our expectations, and maximizes our chances of success.
02. Review
We can review your Digital Environmental Assessment, ours or one you've already completed. If you don't have one yet, we begin with a focused technical review of the product we'll be working on. We don't skip this step; it's what makes the implementation targeted rather than generic.
03. Business Goals & Requirements
Not all improvements are equal. We map interventions by environmental impact, implementation effort, and business risk, then agree on the order of work with your team before anything is built or changed.
04. Implementation or coaching
Depending on which engagement model you've chosen, we either work directly in your codebase and design files, or we work alongside your team in their workflow, reviewing, advising, unblocking.
05. Release
We push your solution live and document what was done, why, and how to continue. Your team leaves with patterns they can apply to future work, so this engagement multiplies beyond its immediate scope. We re-run your emissions baseline to confirm the changes are having the intended effect. Impact is tracked, not assumed.
